Wood Spring was started as a not for profit swim club in May of 1957 by local families to meet their recreation needs on a tight budget, and this remains it’s focus to this day.
THE NAME: WOOD SPRING CLUB
has gone through various name changes throughout its history. It has also been known as: Wood Spring Club, Woodspring Swim Club, Wood Spring, Inc. It’s formal legal name is: Woodspring, Inc – per the direction of the original members.
